About Us

My name is Eric Hatch and I am a professional photographer.

Revealing truth and beauty through powerful visual storytelling.

Eric has photographed fragile environments from above the Arctic Circle to New Zealand, along with cities, countryside, architecture, and award-winning environmental portraits.

He brings his values into the work directly, with ongoing concern for climate, the environment, and the human stories that shape public life.

My name is Eric Hatch and I am a professional photographer.

Eric Hatch custom prints his images and works directly with collectors, curators, architects, and institutions.

His best-known project is "Faces of Addiction," a collection of fifty portraits with accompanying life stories created between 2018 and 2020. Ten of those works entered the permanent collection of the Hood Museum of Art in Hanover, New Hampshire, and the project earned enthusiastic support from public leaders in Ohio.

Another successful project, "Hard Times for These Times," uses architectural photography to express the national mood in post-industrial America. That body of work has been shown in Ohio and is designed to travel.

Current Work and Exhibitions

Eric is currently working on "Active Geology," using landscape photography to bring normally slow geological processes into immediate visual life. These works are designed for public areas, natural history settings, and large-scale installations.

His photographs of glacial retreat were exhibited in Cincinnati from September 24 to October 31, 2022, and again at Dartmouth College in June 2023. Additional sponsoring organizations are being sought for future showings of the exhibition.

Excellent, fantastic photographer with a stunning portfolio of work.
